1. Trade your time for food(one business plan of SMS Lottery). I think it’s better to narrow down the category of ads. Because for business owners, they want their money on ads could reach certain target people - their future customers. Even though, the main spirit of the idea is not changed. It will have a iphone application make people easier to sent short message and receive ads. when people send the message, their preference and location also send to the server, the server will select ads according to their location and preference. On the other side, the web page will show illustrate people’s participations in live. The award will be free dinners. More people joined the game, the final winners could bring more friends to the dinner together. The income from post ads on web page and send ads to cell phone as short messages.(ads from low and mid price restaurant).

2. IP Camera with funny voice in public. Combine a speaker with IP camera, people can talk to the person by writing message on the web page. People also can change the pitch and durition or echo of the voice.

Thanks for ITP Video Streaming Kits. It’s powerful and fun to try. Andrea and I came up an idea to use puppets to make a TV talk show in order to tell the summer trip which she and josh had. In order to make it fun, we tried low-resolution diversity background by put a giant LCD screen in front of our web camera. It’s not a very successful presentation because we didn’t have enough rehearsal. But it’s a really fun experience. Thanks Andrea and Josh…

Here is part of our script:

A: Welcome to tonight’s show. Tonight’s guests are Josh….. and Andrea. Welcome!
Josh I heard you grew up near Boston.

He used to be so cute.

Josh: Hi everyone. It’s great to be here.

A: Andrea, I heard your from Nova Scotia. Is this true?

Ang: Actually, no. I’m from Long Island.

A: Let’s talk about how you guys met each others. There were
rumors and pictures from TNO. Let’s have a look at it…

Ang: It was a perfect evening. I was walking slowly down the beach. The sun was setting. The breeze was blowing.

Josh: I saw the most beautiful girl in the world.

Alex: Ha. Ha. Ha. That looks very special. I heard you had a big trip. Tell us about it.

Andrea: Oh boy! I can’t wait to tell you about our glorious adventure!

Josh: Golly, me neither, Ang.

Andrea: Wow! America sure has some wonderful sights to see!

(truck images)

Alex: So did you guys fight alot?
Andrea: Did we ever! Josh kept making us stop for Double Gulps.

Andrea: Then we had to stop for him to pee.

Alex: Oh wow. Why don’t you tell us a little about the towns you stopped in along the way.

Andrea: Sure thing, Jerry. Well here we are at our first destination South Carolina. The gateway to the south.

Josh: It was truely beautiful.

Andrea: Next stop, Savannah…

Andrea: From there, we headed down to Disney. Its was so magical that we decided to put our differences aside.

In order to tell Holly’s wedding story(Congratulations Holly!), I joined their group to develop the story telling chat room. It’s a chat room based on JenChat, a simply javascript/php online chat. And it’s powerful also. you can put rich content there like embed a picture or anything. But there is only one problem, the php let the chat room to keep refresh every 5 seconds, so if one put a video there, it will automatically restart from the beginning every 5 second. It’s annoy. To avoid this, one solution is to put it on another panal, seperate it with the chat room.

Nicecast is the easiest way to broadcast music from OS X. Broadcast to the world, or just across your house. Nicecast can help you create your own internet radio station or allow you to listen to your iTunes Music Library from anywhere in the world! - NICECAST

I followed by Shawn’s steps of setting up audio streaming, by using ITP streaming server, it’s pretty easy to stream my iTune music onto the internet. Then I came up an idea of using voice over system in Mac, streaming the artifacial voice from the chat room. The java application would be a processing program read the chat room line by line and generate mac voice. Then use the nicecast to broadcast the voice out.

Shinerie is a stunning earring, a geeky fashionistas dream. It embed a glowing led into a beautiful crystal, emitting soft natural lights.

Each shinerie is high-end made, shaped, and polished to ensure a unique and beautiful gem. The led will gradually change the strength of lights because each crystal also embed a photo cell sensing the lights in atmosphere. When you walk into a very dark room, the lights glows very strong; as you walk on the street during the daytime, it looks like a natural shining crystal. The small lights inside of crystal is also strong enough to block people’s eye to see the inside chip and battery.

Only 6mm Li-on battery has 3v, can power the led up to 6 hours. It also comes with a beautiful a solar cell powered dock, which can collect the power at anytime. When you charging you earring, the dock can also generate lights. You can use the dock as a candle also. Instead of ID mark, every crystal also have a RFID chip into it, which have a unique number inside.
Shinerie has a very large collections of shapes for different people. There are lots of different colors also. It looks much cooler in real life.
